BIG CHANGESThis is the new home for Depressed Fan and Green Pinstripes' Yankee coverage. You can still find your Jets coverage at GP, the Sixers are still at DF and the Eagles have a new home at Don't Boo The Birds.

That's Two
I don't have the energy or the inclination for a long-winded diatribe about just how pitiful Joe Girardi is as a manager. Suffice it to say, the Yankees have lost two games this postseason, both as a direct result of asinine moves by our diminutive manager. I don't feel like a very good Yankee fan right now, because impure thoughts are running through my head. Thoughts like, "If this team wins the series, there's no way they'll get rid of Girardi." And, "If they lost this series and Joe Girardi was fired as a result, I don't think I'd even be upset about losing the series." Watching him submarine this team is one of the most painful things I've had to endure in my 30+ years as a fan. I don't know how much more I can take.

Couldn't agree more. These aren't the Florida Marlins where no one notices his moves. Pulling A-Rod for a pinch runner was idiocy even though it didn't cost the Yanks. Shouldn't a team with this much talent have someone that knows how to use it???

Check out some great New York Yankees memorabilia from my client too!

Here's hoping the Yanks put an end to this series in Game 6! Pettite against Saunders in the Bronx? Come on now.

As a Phillies/Yankees fan, I can't be happier w/ the matchup for the World Series. (There are a few of us on Twitter that are both Phils and Yankees fans..JAJinPA under twitter).

As a Phils fan, I was glad to see Girardi wear out your bullpen with stupid moves. Uncle Charlie did it to us too and shook the confidence of Rookie of the Year A.J. Happ by putting him in for one batter and then pulling him in the one game we lost. Sometimes I think bullpen decisions need to be made by the pitching coach and not the mgr. Leaving a scrub like Girardi who never achieved Major League success as a player in charge of a team of All-Star talent is like giving a slacker in the mailroom the keys to the executives washroom and expecting him to make all the decisions.
