CC Says Yes to Yankees
I guess money does talk.
CC Sabathia agreed to a reported six-year, $140 million deal with the Yankees today. There are other figures floating around, but I'll stick to the original number -- for now.
There are pros and cons with signing Sabathia and I'll try and list some when I get a chance. I'm sure Brian will have lots to say, but I decided to "scoop" him since I haven't written anything about the Bombers since this new website was launched.
One thing is for sure, the Yanks desperately needed a starter as they head into 2009.

What's another $20M when you get to that point? They did what they had to do to land their guy. Can't fault them for that.

Was he supposed to be loyal to the Brewers, where he played 4 months, or the Indians who traded him away after 7 years of service?
